About the Firm:


Arlyn Recruiting is assisting a dynamic boutique law firm in Vancouver with their search for an HR/Operations Coordinator. This unique firm specializes in construction, commercial litigation, and family law. Known for its friendly and supportive culture, the firm is seeking to fill a 14-month parental leave contract. This position offers an excellent opportunity for both junior HR professionals and those looking to transition into the legal field.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Recruitment Support: Assist with the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate communication, interview coordination, offer letters, and onboarding.
  • Onboarding/Offboarding: Manage benefits administration, facilities management, and coordination with other departments.
  • Benefits Administration: Handle record management, queries, and market research on benefits offerings.
  • Performance Management: Support performance reviews and time record monitoring.
  • Learning and Development: Assess training needs, develop learning strategies, manage training schedules, and coordinate staff meetings.
  • Leave Administration: Maintain leave records and coordinate coverage.
  • HR Strategy Support: Assist in policy development, change management, and other HR initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Higher education qualification in HR or related field, or equivalent real-world experience.
  • Experience as an HR assistant/coordinator is an asset.
  • Foundational knowledge of HR legal and ethical responsibilities.
  • Office administration experience.

Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000
