Chemistry Consulting Group has been retained by Alitis to search for an Investment Adviser/Portfolio Manager to work out of their fabulous Victoria location. This key role will serve and support the existing clients in the Victoria region as well as grow the private client business throughout southern Vancouver Island.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Securities licence and a CFP or other Financial Planning designation
  • A CIM or CFA designation (or working towards it)
  • A minimum of five years experience with direct, full-service delivery of investment advice, with a basic financial planning overlay
  • Life licensing or LLQP completion would be an asset

Preference will be given to candidates who bring a book of clients with them.

 

Although Alitis Advisers do not own their book of business (all clients are owned by the firm), they are responsible for and are generously compensated for the clients they service, including commissions for all new client assets brought into the firm.

 

Compensation consists of a base salary, commissions on new AUM, a team bonus and a comprehensive group benefits program, which includes an employer-funded group RRSP.
