Cuso International’s e-volunteering program welcomes new and returning volunteers to work with our international program partners and volunteers remotely. E-volunteering offers many of the benefits gained from international volunteering, while having the extra advantage of fitting into one's regular weekly schedule without needing a passport. Contributing and giving back to a community, gaining new skills, and making new connections are common benefits of e-volunteering and for Cuso International it is a great opportunity to engage more people in its mission.
E-Volunteers are expected to supply their own basic home office equipment, Internet and have a moderate knowledge of computer technology. Some of our partners are located in remote areas with unreliable internet connection. Consequently, it is reasonable to assume that when working with the partners, emails will not be responded to immediately. For most of our partners, this is their first experience working with e-volunteers and flexibility and patience is a valuable e-volunteer characteristic.

La Fundación Boliviana Para el Dasarroll Social or Bolivian Foundation for Social Development (FUNDESOC for its acronym in Spanish) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization created to develop sustainable development projects that have a social and economic impact that better the livelihood of the Bolivian community at the national, regional, sectorial and local development actors.
All FUNDESOC interventions incorporate capacity-building through participatory methodologies that prioritize finding solutions based on local needs. Through its various interventions, FUNDESOC has led and managed the development and maintenance of different types of agreements and partnerships between local organizations and strategic partners for the implementation of social projects that benefit rural communities.
Our goal is to find someone like you to support FUNDESOC in their project development so they can provide increased and stable support through their programs to their different target groups. You will work with your local colleagues in analyzing the organizational structure and capacity to implement better project development and find the right funding to keep their mission alive and growing!
As an e-volunteer, you will:
Identify and summarize real funding opportunities for FUNDESOC in the following thematic areas:
-Niñez y Juventud, Educación Ambiental,
-Conservación y Desarrollo, Desarrollo Productivo,
-Agua para el Desarrollo,
-Vivienda y Salu y
Essential Academic Qualifications:
- Degree in business, administration, economics, project management, international development or other relevant area.
Essential Professional Background:
- Strong experience in project development
- Knowledge in methods to strengthen organizations.
Fundación Boliviana para el Desarrollo Social
The Fundación Boliviana Para el Dasarrollo (The Bolivian Foundation for Social Development) or FUNDESOC is a non-governmental, non-profit organization created to carry out sustainable development projects that have a social and economic impact and that promote better livelihoods. the Bolivian community for development sectors at the national, regional, sectoral and local levels.
FUNDESOC is developing a range of services for many clients, mainly hydrocarbon companies that support social programs and investment measures for rural communities in the Bolivian Chaco.
All FUNDESOC interventions integrate capacity building through participatory methods that prioritize finding solutions based on local needs. Through its various interventions, FUNDESOC has led and managed the development and maintenance of different types of agreements and partnerships between local organizations and strategic partners for the implementation of social projects that benefit rural communities. In such cases, FUNDESCO does not sign any agreement or partnership, but facilitates coordination and complementarity between agencies.
