Job Function:
Our client has an immediate opening for a 3rd, 4th or Journeyman status Heavy Duty Mechanic in Lloydminster AB.

Duties:
§ Perform maintenance and repair of heavy trucks and trailers.
§ Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
§ Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform high quality repairs.
§ Provide support and guidance to apprentices as required in order to enhance their understanding of maintenance and repair tasks.
§ Demonstrate the ability to effectively collaborate with individuals of diverse personalities and workstyles.
§ Ability to effectively demonstrate leadership qualities
§ Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
§ Keep up to date records of repairs and maintenance completed.
Qualifications:
§ 3rd, 4th or Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic Certificate
§ Minimum 5 years’ experience
§ Hydraulic experience is a considerable asset
§ Experience with Cummins & CAT engines, including computer diagnostics
§ Ability to correctly diagnose and repair mechanical failures.
§ A Class 1 or 3 license would be considered an asset
§ Current CVIP certification would be considered an asset
