 ADMINISTRATION  

Our client is looking to hire an enthusiastic, self-motivated professional for a full-time permanent administrative position in Lloydminster. This will be a 40 hr./week, Monday – Friday position. Starting wage will be $25 - $30/hr., depending on education and experience.  


SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:  

Provide direct assistance to the public, including accepting donations, assisting with record management, monument consulting and general information  

Ensure that all required documentation for payroll is provided to payroll service in a timely manner  

Develop and maintain an accounting system including preparation for audit, exporting into SAGE, reconciling point of sale purchases  

Invoice entries and payments done through online banking/Sage  

Do production work (Word Processing, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe, etc.)  

Meet with individuals and families to assist them with monument/memorial selections  

Communicate/email back and forth with designs/quotes along with ordering  

Work collaboratively with the office staff and directors to ensure accurate information and preparation  

Assist with administrative tasks when requested, such as files, slideshows etc.  

Maintain online advertisement (Facebook, Website, Vimeo)  

Maintain incoming and outgoing mail  

Participate in training and development opportunities, and community meetings/events  

Monthly duties: ordering supplies, tracking PST, death registrations, reconciling, billing etc.  

Completes other duties, as requested  


SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:  

Diploma in a Business Administration field; accompanied with experience and/or education in Human Services being an asset  

High professionalism and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills  

Experience with records management, data entry, website maintenance, mail, and other administrative tasks  

Understanding of accepted accounting principles, with Sage being an asset  

Self-initiative, be community minded and a strong team member  

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop  

The ability to work effectively and efficiently in a high stress environment  

A positive attitude, be detail oriented, conscientious, and be a quick learner  

Excellent organizational skills with flexibility in the manner in which tasks are accomplished
