Job Function:
We are currently looking for a highly motivated dispatcher with home base being Lloydminster, AB. This company has a solid reputation and a strong community presence that takes pride in their employees. This position will start as soon the right candidate is identified.

10 days on 4 days off work schedule with 10-hour days – on call during working days on
$80 - $100 K/year pending experience
2 weeks’ vacation
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Dispatch picker operators, highway haulers and delivery drivers
Prepare field tickets for invoicing
On call while on shift
Act as a liaison between customers, drivers and operations communicating instructions, permits and all other applicable information
Manage hours of services for drivers
Book permits as required
Assist in preparing bids/flat rates for specific jobs
Search for loads to match any empty
QUALIFICATIONS
Able to work in Canada
Working knowledge of all applicable regulations governing transportation across various provinces (not limited to Hours of Service, Weights and Dimensions)
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships with all customers, employees, vendors, and management
Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills
Demonstrate time management and priority setting skills
Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
Must be highly organized and able to multitask
Must be accustomed to busy phones
Ability to adjust priorities on short notice
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Previous dispatch experience is necessary
Pipeyard experience
Electronic Logging Devices Experience is an asset but not required
Picker operator/highway hauling experience is an asset but not required
