About Us: A leading organization specializing in the recovery of valuable metals and metal-bearing wastes. Our innovative processes ensure sustainability and efficiency in metal recycling. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to lead our production operations and optimize performance.  

Responsibilities: The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include:  

1. Process Optimization & Management: Streamlining processes such as extraction, leaching, and metal recovery to maximize yield and efficiency.  

2. Safety & Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations to protect workers and the environment.  

3. Production Oversight: Developing schedules to maximize throughput, supervising raw material handling, and guaranteeing product quality.  

4. Chemical Process Operations: Managing chemical leaching, solvent extraction, and purification processes for high-purity metal production.  

5. Equipment Maintenance & Control: Scheduling preventive maintenance and monitoring automation systems for optimal operations.  

6. Cost & Inventory Management: Controlling operational expenses and maintaining adequate inventory of raw materials, spare parts, and consumables.  

7. Environmental & Waste Management: Implementing eco-friendly practices and ensuring proper disposal of process residues and effluents.  

8. Leadership & Training: Supervising plant personnel, fostering a productive environment, and organizing training programs to enhance skills and safety compliance.  

9. Reporting & Coordination: Preparing regulatory reports, liaising with stakeholders, and managing supply chain logistics.  

10. Continuous Improvement & Project Management: Leading Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and overseeing plant upgrades, expansions, and new technology implementation.  


Qualifications:  

• At least 10 years of proven experience as a production plant manager, preferably in chemical or petrochemical industries.  

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of 20+ employees.  

• In-depth knowledge of chemical processes, safety compliance, and regulatory reporting.  

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.  

• Proficiency in process data analysis and familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
