Production Manager  – Lloydminster Area


Our client is in search of a humbly confident motivated Production Manager/Foreman to join their team in the building of quality ag/oilfield equipment, shelters and facilities.   The site is located 45 minutes outside Lloydminster.


Position:   Full-time permanent

Compensation: $32/hr – $38/hr starting depending on qualifications  

Benefits:   Health benefits after 3 months

Vacation:   3 weeks

Monday – Friday


Responsibilities include:

§   Oversee processes and workflow ensuring efficient production, quality control, and adherence to budgets and deadlines, while also managing and motivating the production team.  

§   Manage inventory and ensure adequate resources (materials, labor, equipment) are available to meet production needs.

§   Provide pricing, reports, quotes and management of product delivery in and out of site.

§   Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet specifications.

§   Manage, lead, motivate, and supervise production staff to achieve goals.  

§   Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.  

§   Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.  

§   Organize and communicate effectively with other departments, building, maintenance, and sales staff to ensure a smooth workflow.  

§   Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.  

§   Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures for the entire staff, grounds, and shops.


Qualifications:

§   Previous management experience with a get it done, positive, and respectful attitude.

§   Blend of technical, managerial, and interpersonal skills, including  strong leadership, professionalism, problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities, to ensure efficient and effective production processes.

§   Honesty and integrity, adaptable, willingness to learn and seek understanding.

§   Clean drivers abstract with reliable vehicle.

§   Computer literate.

§   Previous experience in welding, reading blueprints, design, or carpentry would be an asset.
