Pricing Analyst - Purchasing (Dufferin & Steeles)

Our employer is one of North America’s top international moving companies looking for an individual to research and assemble competitive quotes for the sales staff.

• Contact vendors and compare rates and services.
• Research multiple components to assemble a quote.
• Prepare a written version of the quote for sales staff.
• Create complex Excel rate tables
• Assist in preparing online rate calculators
• Audit invoices to ensure accurate billing.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelors/college degree and/or related experience.
• 1-2 years’ experience in pricing.
• Quick and able to learn company activities fast and efficiently.
• Research & Negotiate rates to assemble quotes using an analytical approach.
• Take an hands-on, proactive approach and provide remarkable support to fellow employees, clients and other service providers.
• Create rate tables (Proficient in Excel)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through.
• Have the ability to evaluate the results of your calculations, (If the results are reasonable), based on accumulated experience.
• Adapt to a variety of situations, use common sense, and solve problems effectively.
• Well organized and work well independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
