The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning and managing all project phases. Create master schedules and follow up with various departments to ensure that each phase proceeds as planned on time and according to budget.


  • Manages projects lifecycle: due-diligence, planning, design, scheduling and budgeting, to approvals, implementation and completion, constructability and value analysis
  • Coordinates the efforts of various departments to develop scope of work, obtain pricing, coordinate work and maintain schedule in order to ensure that required tasks can be accomplished
  • Develop a timeline for the completion of various milestones for a given project  and ensure critical components are not missed
  • Review the project budget and schedule with Senior Management and identify any potential risks, both before and during the project lifecycle
  • Monitor project progress and provide recommendations for resolution of issues
  • Conduct a detailed analysis of the contract documents and specifications, to meet overall project requirements
  • Coordinate with external consultant teams when appropriate, as well as internal project teams
  • Develop effective contingency plans when necessary in order to complete a project
  • Periodic report of project status to project participants and stakeholders throughout the project to identify risks and provide resolutions
Job Requirement:



  • Experience working on owner side real estate development environment
  • A minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience working in real estate development including experience with project management and project costing of new development from concept through municipal approvals, financing, construction and occupancy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, building science or relevant field
  • Thorough working knowledge and understanding of all project management control systems (scheduling, estimating, cost control, tendering and procurement)
  • Able to foster a sense of team spirit within different departments
  • Able to manage multiple projects at one time and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills and communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and project management
  • Able to make good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience and judgement
  • PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage
