Our employer is looking to hire a Receptionist (Richmond Hill). The Receptionist will be responsible for answering/directing incoming calls, being the first point of contact for visitors, maintaining the office supplies, and general office duties.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • First point of contact for clients in person and on the phone
  • Answer and expedite calls to appropriate recipients
  • Respond to phone and email inquiries in a timely manner
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received
  • General office duties and proper use of all office equipment
  • Managing the day-to-day administration and records management
  • Developing and maintaining open communication with customers to achieve the maximum level of customer satisfaction
  • Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, and a computer
  • Receive deliveries; coordinate deliveries with couriers; sort and distribute incoming mail
  • Take inventory of supplies and restock as needed
  • Maintain the general office filing system
  • Providing other administrative duties including general office requirements
  • Perform other duties as required to support the Office team, Operations, Sales, and our customers

This individual must demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple demands simultaneously.

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum 1 year of administrative experience. (Construction or similar industry experience is an asset)
  • College Diploma preferably in business administration or related fields with equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Able to multitask with strongly developed organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound problem solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Sound computer skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Effective time management and communication skills
