Our employer is looking to hire a Sales Manager.

  • Uncover short-term and long-term insights/plans to improve the efficiency of sales, efforts to help drive market share
  • Continue to work with company Leadership and Management team to uncover strategic initiatives
  • General account management  
  • Develop a deep understanding of products, programs, customers, and sales cycle
  • Identify new business opportunities both inside and outside current accounts
  • Focus on ensuring we maintain superior customer service levels, operational excellence, and strategic insight
  • Work specifically within sales verticals
  • Owns, qualifies, and develops opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts
  • Identifies ways for continuous improvement of processes
  • Prepares, generates, and follows up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders, or determine the reason for loss of order
  • Reports industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management
  • Drive client retention, renewals, upsells, and client satisfaction
  • Daily update and management of Salesforce
  • Other duties as needed
  • The successful candidate must reside within Ontario in close proximity to Toronto
Job Requirement:

Skills and Qualification:

  • Proficiency in both English and French is strongly preferred
  • Requires knowledge and experience in Sales and Sales Administration; still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills, however fully competent and productive professional contributor (2-3 years)
  • Exceptional written, presentation, and oral communication skills, and ability to coordinate with all employee levels and work within a collaborative, fast-paced, and interactive team environment
  • Ability to collaborate within a team while exercising independent judgment and initiative
  • Highly self-motivated and directed. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to determine urgency and act upon it in a meaningful and practical way
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Very adept at leveraging technology to be highly effective in interacting virtually
  • Bachelor's degree and above considered an asset but not required
    While most activities will be conducted remotely, travel is required occasionally for this position
