The employer is looking to hire an experienced Order Entry Specialist - Purchasing Dept.

Job Description:

The Purchaser’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Daily use of internal ERP system
  • Review of salesperson quotations for errors and omissions
  • Confirm costing and expected margins
  • Create purchase orders and send to vendors
  • Order products through vendors specific ERP systems
  • Matching of salesperson quotations, purchase order and manufacturers confirmations
  • Phone answering and customer interfacing
  • Participate in cross functional teams to support operations
  • Stay current on manufacturers product specifications and technical details  
Job Requirement:

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of purchasing or order entry experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience in construction industry preferred
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time to ensure deadlines are met
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to work at North York location
