Director of IT Technology Safety Program

Our employer is looking to hire a Director of IT - Technology Safety Program.

Responsibilities:

• Become the expert of current technology safety solutions, including device filters, Internet Filters, parental controls and restrictions for leading apps, devices, smartphone, gaming and
  entertainment systems
• Assess and recommend technology safety solutions for implementation
• Act as the technology safety expert, staying informed and educated on upcoming technologies and planning for new solutions
•  Hire and lead a team of IT support experts
• Manage IT budget, including resources, hardware, software
• Implement and manage a technology lab, training and demo centre
• Implement and manage ticketing system
• Work with community stakeholders to evolve and develop the program
• Comfortable working directly with community members to implement and support technology
  solutions
• Develop and maintain relationships with technology safety vendors and service providers
• Maintain IT documentation and internal wiki
• Create and maintain process, procedures and policies in collaboration with the Volunteer Coordinator

• Expert in consumer technology, such as mobile devices, computers and gaming system
• Quick learner with the ability to quickly grasp new technologies and solutions
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills
• Proven experience delivering and implementing technology solutions
• Experience in a leadership role within a software development, technology or IT environment
