Our employer, an established Property Management company, is   constructing and managing its rental buildings and communities, while maintaining and incorporating high standards into each of their many buildings across the GTA.

The employer is looking for a Junior Property Management to join their team.

 

Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the day to day operations at the residential properties
  • Supervision of all on-site staff in a positive and efficient way
  • Monitor work orders from tenants and ensure all are completed proficiently and effectively
  • Schedule and supervise outside contractors and ensure they meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Oversee maintenance of the buildings and confirm all mechanical systems are operating efficiently at all times
  • Perform building and unit inspections
  • Keep up to date with market trends with regards to leasing and rental rates
  • Assist with developing and enforcing existing operating policies and preventative maintenance procedures
  • Respond immediately to emergencies that may arise
  • Deal with enquiries and correspondence from tenants on a timeous and professional basis
  • Keep accurate and organized records
  • Coding and approval of invoices
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly reports and building budgets
Job Requirement:

Qualifications :

  • Experience in residential property management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrates a high degree of integrity
  • Own car required
  • Knowledge of Yardi and Excel an asset
