Brief Description:

Our employer is a small cake sup looking for an individual who is passionate with a creative eye and a desire to work in a dynamic and growing bakery.

Job Function:

  • Design and create custom cakes, desserts, patisseries, croissants, and crepes based on customer requests.
  • Develop new and innovative pastry recipes while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Prepare ingredients and assemble baked goods according to established recipes and procedures.
  • Decorate cakes and other pastries with intricate designs using various techniques and materials.
  • Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies.
  • Ensure all equipment and work areas are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
  • Train and supervise other kitchen staff as needed.
Job Requirement:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen, focusing on custom-design cakes and desserts.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry ingredients, including gluten-free and vegan options.
  • Ability to create and execute new recipes and designs from scratch.
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

  • Morning shift
  • Weekends as needed
