Brief Description:

Our employer is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to helping immigrants with resettlement in the GTA looking for individual to be responsible for maintaining and updating information across the Agency, use Salesforce and provide training and technical support to Salesforce users.

Job Function:

  • Primary contact for internal Salesforce users providing support as requested.
  • Manage and maintain confidential client data and record keeping.
  • Act as a Salesforce "Super User'' to ensure that users have the needed reports, training and data that supports.
  • Administer Salesforce user accounts and licenses including setup, roles and permissions.
  • Develop training materials and onboard users into Salesforce.
  • Perform tasks on Salesforce, such as creating fields, picklist management, etc.
  • Liaise with external vendors as needed.
  • Proactively identify and resolve system related business issues.
  • Assist in analysis and design activities for database development and maintenance.
  • Conduct periodic tests of database functionality and address errors.
  • Attends and contribute to staff meetings and other events.
  • Provide monthly updates on assigned deliverables.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2 plus years of experience in database administration, preferably with Salesforce.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts and data management principles.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.
