Brief Description:

Our employer is a pet store looking for an individual to support manufacturing, packing and fulfillment of their products in a safe, quality-oriented, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective manner.

Job Function:

This position requires a hands-on worker that's a team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a sharp focus on continuous improvement. This position will report directly to the Chief
Executive Officer (CEO) and works closely with the Fulfillment and Production Associate to ensure that our human and canine clients are served to the highest standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage waste disposal and clean production and fulfillment area and equipment to maintain a safe and clean facility
  • Support in maintaining a proper inventory management system
  • Ensure smooth transfers of outgoing and incoming deliveries, including unloading pallets from trucks and transferring them into freezers
  • Prepare and package raw dog food meals per given recipes, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are adhered to
  • Move master cases and boxes in and out of the freezer as needed (up to 60 lbs.)
  • Pack orders into boxes alongside product, marketing materials, gel packs and insulation
  • Input order and delivery information into delivery partners' online systems and fulfill orders on Shopify
  • Print and apply appropriate shipping and feeding instruction labels
  • Produce "welcome notes'' and print other marketing material for inclusion in new client orders
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improving service or operational performance
  • Carry out any other similar duties as assigned
