Brief Description:

Our employer is looking for a full-time Senior IT Support Specialist / Project Team Lead for their Concord office, with the flexibility to work remotely.

Job Function:

  • Lead the team managing IT systems
  • Address software and hardware issues
  • Resolve technical problems
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan and install new software and hardware
  • Support various network infrastructures
  • Perform system updates and backups
  • Monitor the performance of IT systems
  • Provide project management and leadership
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime
Job Requirement:

  • Must have a minimum 5 years of experience in a related position
  • Ability to install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN environments, network servers such as Windows Server, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), and backup and recovery strategies.
  • Experience with administering office productivity tools including Microsoft Office, Exchange Server, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Skype for Business.
  • Excellent knowledge of server operation systems such as Microsoft Windows, Linux/UNIX and scripting.
  • Experience with automation tools including is an asset.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to manage project in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Relevant certifications in ITIL, CompTIA A+ / Network+ / Security+ / Server+, VMware Certified Professional, PMP, or Microsoft certifications are an asset.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Experience With Azure is an asset.
  • Experience and certificate in Cyber security is a major asset.
