Brief Description:

Our employer is a caster factory looking for a skilled and experienced Millwright to join their team. The Millwright will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Job Function:

  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, utilizing technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Dismantle and reassemble equipment for maintenance, repair, or replacement of parts.
  • Align and calibrate machinery and equipment using precision tools and instruments.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve machine performance and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Job Requirement:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical or industrial maintenance is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Millwright or similar role in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools, welding equipment, and precision measurement instruments.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, stand, and work in various positions for extended periods.
  • Certification or apprenticeship in millwright work is an advantage.
