Job Function:
Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President of People & Culture, will play a pivotal role in driving and overseeing all aspects of the People & Culture function. This includes acting as both a strategic and tactical business partner, providing expert counsel, developing actionable roadmaps, and executing key initiatives. As the champion of the employer’s unique culture, you will continue to support the innovative, emotionally intelligent, and high-performance work environment that values diverse perspectives and promotes a people-first mindset.
This is a broad HR leadership role including responsibility for performance management, talent acquisition, total rewards, employee engagement and retention, learning and development, and workforce planning. You will provide strategic guidance to the CEO and senior leadership team in driving organizational design and change management initiatives, ensuring compliance with all legislation and managing risks, managing a P&L as well as optimizing People systems and operations. Lead a small, highly effective HR team in delivering exceptional support cross-functionally to a national business.

Job Requirement:
In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation or equivalent.
- 15+ years of progressive, hands-on experience in Human Resources and/or People & Culture functions, with at least 5+ years leading People, HR, and Talent teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute on both tactical and operational issues; this is a hands-on role that requires building and developing capabilities in a high-growth, complex environment with a small but high-performing team.
- Experience working in a mid-large sized company undergoing significant growth that required scaling of infrastructure and a focus on People and Culture to achieve their vision.
- Generalist experience across all HR functions, innovating, leading and implementing programs; with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality; employment is contingent upon obtaining Security Clearance.
- Proven track record of managing teams, with a coaching and development mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee and manage departmental or organizational budgets.
- Experience preferably in Financial Services, Human Resources Services, or Social Services industries.
