Brief Description:
Our employer is looking for a Registered Nurse for a 12-month contract who will work out of both the Toronto office on Mon, Wed, and Fri (downtown on Bloor Street) and the Brampton office on Tues and Thurs (Dixie Road). |
Job Function:
- The Registered Nurse performs a variety of moderately complex tasks which may include:
- Assist in the provision of direct patient care; triage telephone calls and provide clinical advice appropriately;
- Coordinate follow-up care of patients; providing practice management support and patient education.
- Acts as a clinical resource to support staff.
- Requires specialty-specific and/or ambulatory care experience, strong telephone triaging skills and proficiency with some of the following: starting IVs, mixing and administering IV med., IM injections, nebulizer treatment, EKGs and suture removal etc.

Job Requirement:
- Graduation from an approved nursing program (Bachelor's preferred), and current license required.
- Over 5 years of experience and current certification are also required.
- NOTE: This position is located in both Toronto and Brampton and the candidate must be able to service both locations.
