Brief Description:
Our employer is a residential care facility, looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and reliable individual to fill the position of Relief Staff within our Residential Home. They would be joining an innovative and dynamic Residential Staff Team for on-call and/or pre-booked scheduled shifts. The Relief Staff position offers the opportunity for flexible work hours and the opportunity to learn and grow as part of a cutting-edge adult service delivery. |
Job Function:
- Personal Support Worker Certificate or Diploma; or related diploma or degree; or 2 + years experience working as a personal support worker in a residential setting.
- Valid G-level driver's license.
- Successful completion of vulnerable sector screening.

Job Requirement:
- Supervise and support residents of DPRS
- Maintain a positive home environment
- Create an environment for residents to advocate for themselves
- Support the House Director in daily routines and residents in activities of daily living including:
- Meal preparations
- Morning routines
- Nighttime and Sleep routines
- Hygiene routines
- Medication administration
- Support residents in the community settings such as:
- Recreational programs
- Shopping trips
- Medical appointments.
- Complete daily documentation as needed
