Brief Description:

Our employer is a creator of food halls that offer exciting experiences and convenient delivery and takeout options looking for a new team member to join their growing finance and administration team. They are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated bookkeeper who wishes to utilize their bookkeeping experience in a fun and dynamic entrepreneurial company.

Job Function:

  • Maintain, monitor and reconcile GL accounts, including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid
    expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities and intercompany transfers
  • Oversee the processing and monitoring of Accounts Receivable
  • Oversee the processing and monitoring of Accounts Payable
  • Respond to partners' invoicing inquiries
  • Prepare monthly payroll and journal entries
  • Posting monthly, quarterly and year-end adjusting entries as required
  • Assist on other ad-hoc tasks for month-end closing

  • Accounting degree, diploma and/or certificate
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in a bookkeeping role within a small to medium-sized business (ideally in high growth)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and Google Suite software
  • Proficiency in Xero or QuickBooks, or a similar accounting software
  • Experience with Float, Plooto, 7 Shifts, Rippling are a plus
  • Previous experience in the real estate, property management or facilities management is an asset
