Brief Description:

Our employer is a 25-year-old Family operated Home Healthcare and Staffing Support Agency seeking an engaged, creative individual with both healthcare and customer service background to support the company’s continued growth. They are looking for an individual for their head office in North York. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, they will be responsible and accountable for the achievement of net revenue growth through the generation of new business. By identifying, targeting, and closing sales opportunities, they will build relationships with new and existing clients.

Job Function:

  • Enthusiastically out-bounding potential new partners in Long Term Care, Hospitals, Retirement Homes, and other sectors who may require both un-regulated and regulated staffing support.
  • Creatively source new referral partners and engage in public events, trade shows, and networking events monthly. Areas serve include London to Ottawa and successful candidate must have access to a reliable vehicle and willing to travel to meet with new and existing partners.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and above average communication skills with both Clients, Centre's of Influence and Frontline Team members.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and ability to learn new software to support the company's continued growth. A good understanding of Medical Terminology and common diseases and illnesses an asset but not required.
  • Assisting in the planning, preparation, and implementation of marketing plans for the development of new and existing business.
  • Identifying, securing, and managing new clients and sales opportunities through effective management of vertical priorities and the Staff Relief sales workflow.
  • Ensuring key influencers and decision-makers in existing and potential accounts are identified and targeted through personal and business networks as well as proactive research.
  • Maintaining a system of regular review by individual account to measure the effectiveness of sales activity and marketing strategies, implementing corrective action on any accounts not achieving revenue objectives.

Job Requirement:

  • Minimum 2 years of Business-to-Business sales experience.
  • Experience in the Staffing Industry preferred.
  • Superior organizational and relationship building skills.
  • Proactive thinker who recognizes and understands our business strategy.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven success record of achieving revenue and profit objectives.
