Warehouse Manager/Purchasing Manager (Keele & Steeles)

Our employer is a leading commercial overhead and garage door company committed to delivering top-quality service and products to our customers. They are seeking a highly organized, motivated, and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations and support our field technicians. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving, inventory control, purchasing coordination, and technician support. This role requires a balance of operational leadership, vendor relationship management, and a willingness to learn the technical aspects of garage door parts and systems.

• Oversee all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and organization of inventory.
• Act as purchasing coordinator by maintaining vendor relationships, monitoring stock levels, and ordering parts when inventory is low.
• Support technicians each morning by ensuring all required parts are loaded onto trucks for daily jobs.
• Develop a strong working knowledge of garage door parts and equipment to better support technicians and company operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and implement best practices for warehouse efficiency.
• Be hands-on with physical work as needed (loading, unloading, organizing).
• Utilize technology and systems to streamline purchasing, inventory tracking, and communication.
