Head of Technology

Our employer is seeking a Head of Technology to lead the organization’s technical vision and execution.

This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role, responsible for setting direction across technology systems while designing and building solutions to support scalability and efficiency.

The role involves close collaboration with the executive team and leadership across operations.

• Define and own the technical vision, including architecture, reliability, security, and scalability.
• Lead system development while continuously improving existing platforms.
• Build solutions for real-time analytics, routing, pricing, fraud detection, and automation.
• Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing engineering team.
• Shape the data and AI roadmap to deliver operational insights and automation.
• Partner with executive leadership to align technology strategy with business growth.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree an asset.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience, with a proven track record of scaling teams and systems.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with rapid iteration.
• Strong foundation in modern cloud architecture, APIs, microservices, and data-driven systems.
• Hands-on technical expertise with the ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution.
• Passion for solving complex real-world problems with scalable, elegant solutions.
• Ability and willingness to work onsite in Mississauga.
