Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor

Our employer is an industry leader in the development, marketing and distribution of fresh and frozen fish and seafood.

They are looking for a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee their warehouse operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring efficient workflows, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to continuous improvement in warehouse processes.

• Create a work schedule for the specific night picking team.
• Managing inventory (fresh/frozen):
  • Receiving and shipping
  • Ensuring accurate inventory counts and inventory management.
  • Helping to ensure proper FIFO rotation of products.
• Overseeing and delegating workload responsibilities to staff.
• Overseeing workflow and adapting to changing distribution requirements.
• Maintain records for HACCP plant and GMP regulations.
• Ensure and enforce safety standards are being followed.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday from 11 PM to 12 AM based on business needs.
• Candidate must have availability to work Sunday nights.

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Previous experience managing a team of up to 15 people.
• Forklift certified and proficient with the operation of equipment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability to analyze problem situations and come up with solutions quickly.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Have the ability to lift up to 70lbs.
