General Labour (Brampton)

Our employer is a manufacturer of smart armoured vehicles. They are looking for an individual to assist with general cleaning, organization, and support tasks within the manufacturing facility to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. In this role one will also need to provide operational support to production teams as assigned by the Team Lead or Supervisor.

• Perform general cleaning duties in assembly and production areas
• Remove waste, collapse boxes, and sort recyclable materials
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and support housekeeping standards
• Assist production teams with cleanup and basic support tasks as requested
• Operate manual material handling equipment such as hand jacks and floor cleaners safely
• Lift, carry, and move materials as required
• Load and unload items to and from vehicles
• Assist with organizing, sorting, and stacking parts in storage areas
• Perform routine facility inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Follow all safety procedures and workplace regulations
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is an asset
• Ability to safely operate basic material handling equipment
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry items as required
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic
• Basic communication skills in English
