Licensed Electrician (Keele & Steeles)

Our employer is a residential garage door company. They are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, thrives in a hands-on environment, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You will play a key role in supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems related to residential and commercial garage door operations.

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components for garage door systems (operators, controls, wiring, etc.)
• Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions in the field
• Perform service calls for residential and commercial customers
• Ensure all work complies with Ontario Electrical Safety Code and company safety standards
• Collaborate with technicians and installers on job sites
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and participate in safety meetings

• Valid Electrician License
• Minimum 2–5 years of electrical experience, preferably in service or construction environments
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams
• Experience working with low-voltage systems and controls (asset)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs and working at heights when required
