The successful candidate will play a key role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent across a variety of functions, including manufacturing, engineering, skilled trades, operations, and corporate positions. This role requires a proactive recruiter who can thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and build strong relationships with hiring managers to support the company's continued growth.

Job Function:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from requisition approval through onboarding.
  • Receive hiring requirements and approved staffing requests from senior management and HR leadership.
  • Create and post job advertisements across various recruitment platforms.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, employment agencies, and other recruitment channels.
  • Review applications and conduct candidate screening interviews.
  • Assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and suitability for the position.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Conduct reference checks and verify employment-related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation within the HRIS
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for production, skilled trades, engineering, and corporate positions.
  • Support high-volume recruitment initiatives to meet production demands.
  • Attend job fairs, recruitment events, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, employment legislation, and recruitment procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, employment agencies, and community organizations.

Job Requirement:

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
  • Experience recruiting within manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, defence, or industrial environments is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience recruiting for skilled trades, production, engineering, and corporate positions.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and recruitment best practices.
  • Strong interviewing, assessment, and candidate evaluation skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
