Our employer is the York Region’s only Conservative Egalitarian synagogue located in the heart of Vaughan. They are a dynamic congregation dedicated to blending Jewish tradition with a commitment to egalitarian values.

The role of Family Educator is to develop, promote and lead innovative Jewish educational programming centred around the values of our family-oriented, Conservative Egalitarian synagogue through formal and informal experiential learning opportunities. The main priorities of this role will be leading a B’nai Mitzvah program twice per month; a Family Shabbat Experience once per month; and additional multigenerational programming opportunities throughout the year.

This role requires a commitment of approximately 20 hours per month including preparation and attendance. Weekends and evenings are required.
