Office Services Clerk

Payment:$18-20/Hr

Job Function:

Duties include but are not limited to:

•Order office and kitchen supplies, keeping track of inventory levels to ensure there is an adequate supply on hand.

•Oversight of mailroom services including: pickup of mail from the centralized mailbox area, delivery of mail internally, preparation and drop off of outgoing mail. Orders supplies and print stamps utilizing the firm’s Stamps.com account ensuring there is an adequate supply of postage on hand at all times.

•Also prepares outgoing FedEx packages for pickup by the courier or delivery to FedEx container in the building mailroom.

•Organize and maintain files in central filing.

•Closed file maintenance which includes packing case files in bankers boxes, labeling the boxes, and scheduling pickup of the files by file storage vendor.

•Creates Drop Box folders upon request for distribution of case documentation amongst all stakeholders.

•Ensures that copier areas are fully stocked with paper and kept tidy/clean.

•Maintains copiers, contacting vendor for equipment servicing needs.

•General filing of case files into central filing working closely with the file clerks.

•Provides backup support to reception.

•Present a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with co-workers.


Job Requirement:

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

•Minimum of 3 years within a professional office setting.

•Direct, hands-on knowledge of standard office practices and procedures.

•Computer savvy with the ability to learn systems and processes quickly.

•Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

•Self-starter with a willingness to take initiative when necessary.

•Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

•Ability to lift 30 pounds
