Our client, one of the premier corporate law firms, is seeking an energetic, highly organized, detail-oriented, technology-savvy, self-starter to join its Marketing Department.

Job Function:

The Marketing Coordinator will provide hands-on support in various areas, including event management, drafting website content and marketing materials, social media management, and the CRM system. The ideal candidate will be a strong multi-tasker, have excellent written and oral communications skills, be able to meet tight deadlines, work effectively under pressure, and interact at all levels of the firm.   The position will be based in Bridgeport with the ability to work one day per week from home.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create regular social media posts via LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter; candidate should possess an understanding of how to increase brand awareness through social media platforms.
  • Draft website posts and content (news and events posts, attorney bios, practice descriptions) and provide support in the development of marketing and business development materials.
  • Work with attorneys on the development and dissemination of alerts and newsletters.
  • Coordinate, plan and implement a variety of events, including firm-sponsored seminars and webinars, conference sponsorships and tradeshows, and other client-facing events.
  • Research event venues and coordinate arrangements for facility rentals, audiovisual equipment, food and beverage, entertainment, etc.; attends all events and coordinates registration, room set up and distribution of marketing materials as needed; and prepares evaluation forms and coordinates follow-up.
  • Create invitations, handouts and presentation materials, including assisting attorneys/speakers with the preparation of PowerPoint presentations.
  • Assist with the development of event mailing lists; the email distribution of invitations; and the management of RSVPs.
  • Assist with conference sponsorships, including trade show exhibits; attends conferences and sets up exhibit booths; ensures that signage, displays, marketing materials and promotional items are made available; and coordinates with attorneys as necessary.
  • Manage the firm’s CRM system with the support of the Marketing Assistant.
  • Maintain and update the firm’s website content, including attorney bios, practice group descriptions, case studies, alerts, newsletters and events.
  • Assists with other special marketing-related projects, such as print advertising, RFPs/RFIs, research and pitchbooks.
