Finance VP/Director

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a publicly traded Financial Services organization in Dallas to add a VP of Financial Reporting and Accounting to their team. This is a hybrid position reporting directly to the CFO in their upscale offices in downtown Dallas.   They offer a competitive compensation package, a terrific company culture, amazing facilities, and lots of perks!   Ideal candidates should have:  

• Bachelor’s or master’s in accounting, finance or similar
• CPA Required
• 6+ years’ experience at a Manager level or higher
• Big 4 or large public accounting experience required
• Proficiency with GAAP, internal and external audits, internal controls
• Experience working in financial services, private equity, or fintech
