Medical Collections

NextStep Recruiting has joined hands with a growing Healthcare client as they are seeking multiple Medical AR/Insurance Collectors to join their team. This exciting new role will be heavily focused on their Commercial payers for both Medicare and Medicaid.

Essential duties will be, but are not limited to:

• Manage collection activities on a portfolio up to 400 commercial payers
• Handle heavy research and problem-solving on outstanding claims  
• Assist with rebills on UB04 and 1500’s when necessary

Requirements:

• Must have at least 5 years of experience handling commercial insurance collections
• Must have recent, thorough knowledge of EOB's and payers adjudicate claims experience
• Exceptional writing of claims appeal experience
• Prior billing experience is highly desired  
• Epic Software is required
• Strong analytical, and critical thinking skills paired with strong initiative, the ability to switch gears quickly
