NextStep Recruiting had joined hands with a state-of-the-art healthcare client in their need for multiple Medical Billing & Collections Specialists. This is an urgent need, and our client is looking to move fast!
The successful candidate will have:
- 5+ years of Physician or Hospital billing experience
- Keen eye for detail in identifying billing discrepancies while navigating through disputes/denials
- Experience in medical terminology, ICD Coding, CPT codes UB04 and 1500 claims
- Thorough understanding of Commercial and Government payers, both Medicare and Medicaid, multi-state highly preferred
- Previous Medi-Cal experience is strongly preferred, but not required
